The human body makes less collagen as it ages, especially after 30. Unfortunately, this means that our skin loses elasticity over time. Morpheus 8 is a microneedling treatment that incorporates radiofrequency technology to boost collagen production. The majority of our patients use this on the face and neck to reverse aging signs. Some also use it on other parts of the body such as the chest, abdomen, and legs. The great thing about Morpheus 8 is that it is versatile. It works well anywhere on the body that is prone to wrinkles and scarring.

It is normal to notice micro lesions for a few days following your Morpheus 8 session. But you can go back to your usual skincare and makeup routine after a couple of days. Slight redness may show for up to a week. The healing process is different for everyone.

While every client’s needs will be different, we generally recommend a minimum of 3 sessions for optimal results. It should be noted that most clients will see some immediate results after only one session.

Each session only takes about 15-60 minutes depending on the size of your target area. Your session may be rescheduled if you have an infection or cut in the target area. This is because wounded skin may increase your risk of infection or other negative side effect. You won’t need to go home and recover after your Morpheus8 treatment. While you may experience warmth, pinkness and mild aching in the area treated, these should all resolve within 2-3 days, at most. The aching has been described as the same kind you’d feel after having a good workout at the gym. After each session, it will take roughly 10 - 12 weeks for your skin to remodel its collagen levels. This process, called Collagenesis, will occur over the months following your treatment. The improvement will last as long as the effects of aging, you may want to get “touchups” treatments every 9 months to a year for the most optimal results.

The cost of Morpheus 8 differs for every person. The overall price will depend on the number of sessions you need, where the treatment site is, and whether you purchase a package with another treatment or not. In general, we recommend that Morpheus8 be paired with a PRP treatment for optimal results and a package discount.

While Morpheus8 does use microneedles, it’s usually not painful. Some clients experience mild discomfort that can be alleviated with over the counter pain medication. For your optimal comfort, our team will apply a numbing cream before the procedure.

After treatment, some patients may experience some redness, swelling, or sensitivity. In order to ensure the best results, patients should avoid the following:

• Excessive sun exposure

• Strenuous exercise

• Harsh skincare products
